Tsubame was born into a family of Amatsuka—exorcists who purify and exterminate spirits. However, tragedy struck when her parents were killed by a powerful yokai, and Tsubame herself lost her exorcism powers in the aftermath. Since then, she has lived tormented by a sense of helplessness, clinging only to the memories of her beloved parents.

One day, when her uncle attempts to steal her parents' mementos, Tsubame resists desperately. Overwhelmed by his strength and prepared for the end, she faces certain death… until a mysterious figure appears before her, changing her fate forever.
